Oh these characters were so great. Plus I'm 100% here for a book with great banter and hilariously sparkling internal monologues.
Mara receives half of a house in her advisor's will, and it just happens to be close to where she's landed a new job. So, she turns up on the doorstep to talk to the current occupant (her advisor's nephew).
Enter Liam, smoldering giant of a man, who works as a 'big oil' lawyer—the opposite of everything Environmental Engineer Mara believes in.
Forced proximity, and dislike-to-lovers? Yes please. And if you're as thrilled as I am to see romances featuring women in STEM then you will be delighted to know that this is just the first in The STEMinist Novellas series!
The audiobook is narrated by Emma Wilder, and this sweet and spicy little novella comes in at just 3 hours and 38 minutes. My only complaints? I could have listened to Emma Wilder and this story for three times as long...guess I'll just have to start it again from the beginning. 😉
Book Synopsis:
