The Sun Down Motel

Score: 4/5 Bookmarks

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, going into The Sun Down Motel by Simone St. James. But when I reached the end I didn’t want it to stop. I mean…multigenerational secrets, ghosts, strange occurrences, and an old motel in upstate New York? Count me in!

Plus, St. James weaves the tale in such an intriguing way with such perfect pacing that you’ll find yourself in that perfect spot of anticipation and emersion.

My only real complaint about the book was that I was so intrigued by some of the ghosts that I wanted to know even more about their backstory!

Definitely worth a read, or a listen. I started the physical book and then switched over to the audio version and absolutely loved the narration by Brittany Pressley and Kirsten Potter. In fact, after this book I went looking for more books narrated by Brittany Pressley (like Oona Out of Order, Well Met, and American Royals). You can grab the audiobook by clicking the button below, or you can get the physical book here.
